The small Shropshire town with a big claim on the history of the modern Olympics is preparing to mark the build-up to the Games with a feast of fun, sport and cultural experiences; in what could be coined, the 2012 fringe.
Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership has confirmed they are to operate a new Shuttle bus service between Much Wenlock, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm and Church Stretton.
The announcement was made at the Society’s AGM on Thursday 17th November.
In celebration of the recent Walker are Welcome award, the first Much Wenlock Walking Weekend will be held from 7 - 10 September 2012.
